  • Lead and build a team of data engineers, fostering innovation and keeping ahead of industry trends
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape and influence Viaplay´s strategy and direction
  • Develop advanced data pipelines to provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to support cross-functional metrics, testing, and measurement initiatives
  • Bridge technical and creative teams, encouraging collaboration and integration of diverse perspectives
  • Design and execute a data engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee large-scale data integration into the Viaplay’s data lake, ensuring seamless processes
  • Adopt a customer-focused approach, incorporating customer needs into data strategies
  • Own and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for smooth data transfer and storage
  • Manage external vendors and third-party data integration resources effectively

  • Track record of defining and executing a data engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills to align engineering, product, and leadership teams.
  • Background in regulated environments with knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and integrating data sources.
  • Proven communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical perspectives.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with analytical engineering or tools like Databricks
