Senior Backend Developer

The location for this position is flexible; you can either join the Stockholm or Gothenburg office.

The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will work with new development and integration for AFRY’s internal systems within Finance, Legal & Sustainability. The way of working is based on agile development methods and you will work in close collaboration with a cross-functional team consisting of Business Analysts, Applications Owners, and Senior Developers. 

The platform and core are built on Microsoft environment in Visual Studio within C#, .NET, and microservices architecture. AFRY has a well-formulated architecture based exclusively on various Azure components and designed for scalability and flexibility. AFRY are also passionate and take pride in continuously advancing Sustainable IT within the organization and globally.

Tech Knowledge We Appreciate

• Excellent programming skills in modern .Net Core, C#, and experience in microservices
• Experience in Azure cloud development and an interest in infrastructure as a code
• Experience in working with Azure DevOps
• Experience in working with SQL and databases 
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

It is a bonus if you have 

• Experience of frontend development using React 
• Experience working with financial processes
