We are assisting Iris, a fast-growing tech startup backed by one of Europe’s leading VCs, in their search for a COO(long-term contract-based).
Iris is concerned about trends in big tech, particularly regarding privacy issues and the loneliness driven by social media. Their mission is to prioritize people over tech companies by fostering happiness through meaningful relationships, a true sense of community, and authentic connections. To achieve this, they are building a small, highly specialized team from around the world to tackle these challenges. Iris is designed as a hyper-personalized co-operating system, offering a suite of tools and components that empower creators to build and fully own their platforms.
The senior management team includes one of the core Elixir developers, a former AI researcher from Spotify, and the CEO/founder—a serial entrepreneur who previously launched two of the world’s largest football apps, both of which are still running and profitable. Iris is funded by EQT Ventures, one of Europe’s leading VC firms, providing the company with full control, freedom, and the resources to address these pressing issues.
