About the role

On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Head of AI—a unique opportunity to shape the future of emerging businesses and technology.

Our client is a leading technology consulting company based in Sweden, specializing in digital transformation, IT consulting, and technology solutions across various industries, including finance, automotive, telecommunications, healthcare, and public services.

The company has become a significant player in the Nordic tech industry, known for its innovation, agility, and practical, impactful solutions.

As the Head of AI, you will lead the client’s AI initiatives, developing and executing strategies that drive technological innovation and growth. This key role involves defining and building their AI practice/offering and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish, lead, and grow the AI and machine learning practice for our client
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across sectors, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Oversee the delivery of AI and machine learning projects
• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and offering aligned with the company’s overall strategy
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and secure new business.
• Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and forums, sharing insights and thought leadership on AI and machine learning trends.

Requirements:

• Strong customer orientation and business acumen, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently and proactively
• An experienced leader capable of developing a product offering within the area with a big interest in technology innovation and how it can impact business processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Several years within the professional service industry or management consulting industry, ideally within tech/AI

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a background in business development and a “get your hands dirty” mentality
• Passion to continuously learn new things and a huge interest in new technologies and concepts
• Structured, process-oriented, and goal-oriented.
